雷峰塔坐落于西湖南侧的雷峰上，北临保俶塔。这是中国最古老的彩色铜雕宝塔。站在宝塔的顶上，游客可以欣赏附近的净慈寺，欣赏西湖的风景，甚至可以从远处看杭州。黄昏的时候，五彩缤纷的晚霞和青山映出在潺潺的湖面上，形成了一个风景如画的“雷峰夕照”，是西湖十景之一。
Leifeng Pagoda is situated on Leifeng on the west side of Hunan Province and borders Baoluo Pagoda on the north. This is the oldest colored bronze Pagoda in China. Standing on the top of the pagoda, visitors can enjoy the nearby Jingci Temple, the scenery of the West Lake, and even see Hangzhou from a distance. At dusk, colorful sunset clouds and green hills are reflected on the rippling lake, forming a picturesque "Leifeng sunset", which is one of the ten sceneries of the West Lake.
